Floating desktop

Keep the asset workspace close while you work with files and buyers.

What this is for

The floating desk gives you direct access to local receivables, buyer profiles, scenario terms, and saved comparisons. Use it alongside your existing work.

Open the desk

On a configured Mac:

sh
mint desk

Inside MINT >, type desk. The app opens in a separate local Chrome window.

Find and compare

Use Search buyers, choose an exact Buy Box, then compare the active receivables. Open the terms editor when you want to try a supported change. CSV intake stays in settings; it is optional.

Keep your source

The active batch belongs to the current conversation. Inspect its identity before comparing. Older results retain their own batch and buyer context. Use the explicit source switch to return to the original copied batch.

Use AI or direct actions

AI assistance routes natural-language requests through the configured provider. Direct buttons and commands remain available. Local code performs the financial calculation. Local data.

Share a saved result

Open a comparison and choose PDF or HTML. Those exports use the saved run. They do not perform a new comparison against the latest workspace.

Troubleshooting

A closed window, a paused coding agent, and an unavailable model connection are different states. See Troubleshooting for the relevant check.
