Understand what the current local workspace controls.

Local files

Original files, mapped imports, saved comparisons, and desktop conversation history stay in the configured local workspace. The local folder inspection tool does not upload the selected folder.

Local approval

The CLI browser approval is a local session approval. It does not validate a buyer’s corporate account through OAuth. Use the actual sign-in and approval state shown by the product.

Connected requests

Connected AI sends the request to a provider. Do not describe cloud inference as computation performed on the Mac. Provider policies and account controls apply to those requests.

Administration scope

Keep workspace access, provider permissions, and external-system access separate. Define permitted records and actions for each workflow. Use the local-data guide to identify which steps stay on the Mac.
